General contractor services for the construction of the Salzburg Wals stadium incl. the initial equipment, outer facilities and connecting bridge to the bus parking lot. The stadium consists of the West Building, the East Building, the north and south links and the actual stadium with the bleachers and playing field. The buildings were built by conventional means using in-situ concrete. The outer façade, designed to run diagonally towards the top, was covered with prefabricated wooden façade elements made of bonded larch. The window elements, also installed in the diagonal façade, were constructed with special profiles and fittings to make it possible to open the elements. The bleachers are in a steel design with stayings made of round pipes. The roofing is constructed of transparent double polycarbonate web plates on aluminum profile frames, affording maximum transparency for the bleachers and playfield.
