The sewage treatment plant in the city of Sevlievo, ca. 200 km north-east of Sofia, will serve about 53,300 people in neighbouring cities and municipals. The plant is intended to biologically degrade nitrogen and phosphate elements, to chemically remove phosphates and to mineralise sludge. ALPINE Bau GmbH is responsible for planning, construction, installation of equipment but also for the training of executives and personnel of the sewage treatment plant.
The Austrian companies Ginzler Stahl-und Anlagebau GmbH and Hereschwerke Automation GmbH will supply the mechanical equipment and electric devices for the sewage treatment plant.
