This project consists of the construction of three train stations: Holland, Buona Vista (junction station of the existing east-west line) and NUH using the open cut tunnelling method and architecturally constructing the station ONH. The station’s shell has been already built by another company.
2 Slurry TBMs and 2 EPB TBM2 were used to drill a total of 8,248 m of single-lane tunnels. The tubes are lined with premanufactured reinforced concrete trough sections (so-called Tübbingen). A 300 m long turnout section was built south of the station ONH using the open cut tunnelling method.
