The tunnelling is done with TBM and the interior structure is line with premanufactured reinforced concrete trough sections (so-called Tübbingen). It starts at km 18+345 and ends at km 43+494.446. It also contains two expanded sections.
The planning includes tunnelling, concrete lining, filling with grit, injection works, lining with in-situ concrete and the two expanded sections of this 25 km tunnel.
Another company has already completed the cuts of the tunnel approach, using the open cut tunnelling method (from km 43+494.446 up to km 43+694.446).
