We meet these quality requirements in our construction output by operating in a very structured and process oriented fashion and by applying the same standards to our subcontractors. We continuously evaluate the quality of products and services delivered by suppliers. To enable a continuous process optimization, customers are surveyed after the conclusion of a project on the performance of material quality criteria. Another key to quality is the competence of our employees. They continuously enhance their expertise through training and continuing education measures.
ALPINE has introduced a process oriented quality management system to the ISO 9001 standard in all Central and East European areas, branches and subsidiaries. We intend to gradually expand this system to cover every subsidiary abroad and to standardize existing systems. In 2008, our management systems according to ISO 9001:2008 (Quality), ISO 14001:2004 (environment) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (occupational health and safety) have been combined into an integrated management system and successfully recertified in 2009.
