Vienna: the construction industry’s top professionals as well as politicians, customers, friends and staff converged at the traditional art happening held at ALPINE’s Vienna Branch. Some 500 guests came to the opening of the “PERSPECTIVES” exhibition featuring works by the spontaneous realism artist, Erwin Kastner. “Kastner’s themes are taken from everyday life but are seen from a different point of view that captures the ubiquitous that appears to be hidden,“ explains the president of ALPINE Holding’s supervisory board, Dietmar Aluta-Oltyan with enthusiasm. The show was opened by the President of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Christoph Leitl.
Dr. Dr. Leopold Kogler, President of the Lower Austrian Art Associations, described the paintings on display and introduced the artist. Visitors were impressed by the vivid colors and astonishing design of Kastner’s work, giving meaning to the expression “spontaneous realism.“ “We hope to add an artistic flair to everyday construction life and offer interesting artists a platform that will not be exhausted in a few weeks but offers an opportunity to contemplate the artist’s work all year long,“ says DI Dr. Peter Preindl, Managing Director of ALPINE Bau GmbH.
The opening was accompanied by lively jazz music by “Artett”, delighting over 500 guests.
