Salzburg/ Faido, Switzerland: The breakthrough of the first tube of this section (length: around 30 km) of the Swiss Gotthard base tunnel took place between Bodio and Faido. The work for the EUR 1.5 billion project is guaranteed by the internationally renowned tunnel construction expertise of the Alpine Group.
